Introducing Rambling Man

Rambling Man has lived his whole life in Washington D.C. He graduated from Sidwell Friends School (with me) in 2006. He wrote political columns for the Sidwell student newspaper Horizon for two years. At Sidwell, he was also an active member of the Student Democrats, campaigning for Kerry in 2004 and Gov. Tim Kaine (D-VA) in 2005. That same year, he attended Junior Statesmen Summer School at Yale University. During his senior year in high school, he converted to Buddhism, which created tremendous changes in his personal life and political views. He has been very proactive in politics this summer, working for the Webb for Senate campaign. He was responsible for bringing me to Rosslyn to work the phone bank on primary day (which lead to the e-mail correspondence with TeacherKen, which lead to this blog). In fact, he is now working as an intern for the campaign (whereas I am only a volunteer). He will be attending Yale University in the fall, and plans to major in Environmental Studies and participate in the Yale Student Democrats, the Yale Political Union, and the Roosevelt Institute.

Hey man! Can't wait to see some posts!
